The holy month Ramadan is considered as “mercy full and blessing” month for Muslim, but in Pakistan, actors and Islamic scholars make it controversial by their TV shows. In past Ramadan Pakistani controversial queen Veena Malik became more controversial after hosting a Ramadan show “Istikhara” on private television channel but this Ramadan also becomes controversial by veteran scholar Dr. Aamir Liaqat Hussain who is hosting a show “Aman Ramadan” at Pakistan’s leading television channel Geo News.
Everyone criticized Dr. Aamir liaqat Hussain on Facebook, Twitter and other social sites and some senior journalists have analyzed his act negative in their TV shows and articles, the same thing Veena Malik faced last year.
Aamir Liaqat is not under fire for the first time as 2011 was the terrible year for Islamic scholar when a off air program video leaked, showing him abusing with others scholars and discussing an Indian film “Ghalib”.
It is not final too! A fake degree scandal is also a boiling point for the anchor. According to media reports, after achieving PhD degree, Aamir Liaqat surprisingly enrolled himself in master class (Islamic history) and without appearing in exam he managed to pass three semesters. After such reports, vice chancellor of Federal Urdu University has set up a committee for inquiry.
