Chennai Express has been on a dream run ever since it opened on Eid (August 9) and the business on August 15 gave further impetus to the film, which has set new benchmarks in its opening week.
On the other hand, Once Upon Ay Time In Mumbai Dobaara suffered due to a limited release on 15 August, since Chennai Express continued to dominate the screens and shows.
Yet, despite limited screens and shows, Once Upon Ay Time In Mumbai Dobaara opened to packed houses and fared very well on Day 1, running to packed houses almost everywhere.
Once Upon Ay Time In Mumbai Dobaara expands to more screens and shows from today (Friday), so it will be interesting to see how it fares over the weekend.
Though the movie has been panned by critics.
